Neonatal intensive care units (NICU) have complex machines and equipment's to provide for baby's unique needs. Here are the details about the latest technology we use at Yashoda hospital to keep your babies safe.
At Yashoda hospital, we combine innovative technology with exceptional health care performance. And that's why we have installed Giraffe Incubator Carestation that is thoughtfully designed to nurture the close connection between babies and their caregivers. Giraffe Incubator propagates natural, peaceful healing while encouraging a close bond between families and their babies.
In addition, it also gives better access to small patients, which gives a better chance of providing successful treatment. The Giraffe incubators are designed in such a way that it provides continuous warmth during intrahospital transport when paired with Giraffe Shuttle. The Giraffe incubators have integrated features such as the translating and rotating mattress, elevating base, and the removable in-bed scale, which empowers clinicians to keep your baby safe and healthy. It also provides enhanced visibility and patient interaction.
The SLE6000 Ventilator
Ventilators give oxygen to the babies and are used for those babies that can't breathe on their own or who need help taking bigger breaths. At Yashoda hospital, we use the most versatile ventilator that is the SLE6000. The ventilator is so flexible that it can be customized for our little patients. We have added HFOV, VTV, SpO2, single-tube NIV modes, etCO2 and Auto O2 to suit our way of working to keep the small babies safe.
INOSYS- Nitric Oxide Therapy System
We use Inosys Nitric Oxide (NO) with constant flow type (infant) ventilators for delivery and monitoring systems.
To treat infant respiratory diseases such as Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension (PPHN), the INSOSYS system is used in conjunction with ventilation.
We use INOSYS to ensure a constant therapeutic dose of Nitric Oxide. The INOSYS maintains a set of constant flow into the patient-ventilator circuit, which is constantly monitored by our expert neonatologists.
