Dr. Sushil Shukla is a dedicated & caring pediatric interventional cardiologist with 9+ years of experience in clinical practice. He possesses comprehensive knowledge of various congenital cardiac/blood vessel disorders and the procedures involved in their diagnosis & treatment, along with extensive experience in the diagnosis & treatment of varied congenital cardiovascular conditions.
Dr. Shukla is accredited with having performed critical procedures in small neonates- ductal stentings in very critical neonates under LA wherein all the patients were discharged in merely 3-4 days of the procedure. He is also reported to have carried out PDA device closure in a very sick preterm child weighing just 1.3 kg ADOZAS device; this was the smallest child on which a device closure was done in NCR region. He specializes in cardiac emergencies, arrhythmia mx, temporary cardiac pacing and pericardiocentesis.
Dr. Shukla is very proficient in managing post-op patients in the pediatric CTVS ICU, having independently performed over 800 diagnostic caths & over 200 interventions in pediatric cardiac cath-labs. He has also assisted in diagnostic cath lab procedures n=1000 & interventions n=500, independently performing echo studies since 2015 around 500-700 echos per month. He conducts monthly campaigns for free in neighbouring districts around NCR & other remote areas; in these clinics, kids & pregnant women with cardiac issues, are checked for ailments along with necessary treatments being provided.
