About  Dr. Mayank Goyal

Dr. Mayank Goyal is a dedicated physician specializing in Rheumatology, currently working with Yashoda Hospital and Research Centre. He has built a strong academic and clinical foundation through years of rigorous medical training and hands-on experience. Dr. Mayank completed his M.B.B.S. from Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad, in 2017, where he was awarded a Bronze Medal for securing third place overall in his batch. His consistent academic excellence was further reflected through distinctions in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, ENT, and Paediatrics. He went on to earn his M.D. in General Medicine from the School of Medical Sciences & Research, Sharda University, where he submitted a thesis titled “Role of Red Blood Cell Distribution Width as a Prognostic & Diagnostic Marker in Acute Coronary Syndrome.” During his M.D. training, Dr. Mayank managed outpatient, inpatient, and emergency duties, handling 50–70 patients daily while also serving on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic in ICU settings. He actively participated in medical conferences such as UPICON and various national CMEs, and successfully cleared his M.D. examination in the first attempt with first division. His passion for research and academic contribution continued through his fellowship in Rheumatology, during which he has presented posters and papers at prestigious national and international platforms including APLAR 2024 (Singapore), IRACON 2024 (Bangalore), CRC 2024 (Hyderabad), and WFR 2024 (Chennai and Delhi). Dr. Mayank Goyal specializes in the management of rheumatoid arthritis, lupus (SLE), gout, osteoarthritis, vasculitis, spondyloarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis, and other systemic autoimmune conditions, adopting a holistic and patient-centric approach to long-term disease control. He is proficient in advanced rheumatology procedures including intra-articular injections, joint aspirations, nail-fold capillaroscopy, biologic and infusion therapies, and has hands-on experience with musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided interventions.
