An IVF procedure usually involves several steps, including; ovarian stimulation, egg collection, sperm collection, fertilization, and embryo transfer. Generally, the whole cycle of IVF can take about two to three weeks, and if required, more than one cycle has to be undertaken.

For different people, different techniques are used in IVF. It depends on whether your donor eggs, sperm, or embryos are being involved. Egg Retrieval: After the injection, egg retrieval will be scheduled, during which you will be placed under sedation, and eggs will be collected via an ultrasound-guided needle procedure.
Sperm Collection: The semen of the man will be collected, and it will be washed using treatments, and then the eggs will be placed in a special culture for fertilization.
