About  Dr. (Brig.) Ajay Malik

Dr. (Brig.) Ajay Malik is the head of the department, pathology & oncopathology, Yashoda Hospital & Research Centre, Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad. Having completed his MBBS and MD from the Armed Forces Medical College, Dr. Ajay Malik went on to pursue Postdoctoral Fellowship in Oncopathology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. 
In his 34-year-old career, he has performed various roles in a number of capacities across various military hospitals. With hundreds of publications to his credit, he is one of the most renowned professors and pathologists across the country. In his stint as the professor & head of the department, Pathology, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, his role was to teach, guide, manage, conduct exams as well as supervise UG & PG students, technicians, paramedical, clerical & other staff. Dr. Ajay Malik also coordinated the NABL-accreditation process since Sep. 2018 including document preparation, submission, pre-assessment & assessment inspection by the assessors. 
As the Brigadier Medical, HQ Delhi Area, 2020, he looked after the medical cover arrangements of Delhi Garrison through Base Hospital, Army Hospital including the peripheral MI rooms, ECHS polyclinics and station health officers as well as organised medical cover for various ceremonial occasions like Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations, organising quarantine & isolation camps for contagious diseases like COVID-19.
