A PET-CT (Positron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography) scan is commonly performed to detect cancer, heart diseases as well as problems in the central nervous system and brain disorders. It uses small amounts of radioactive materials known as radiotracers, a special camera and computer to evaluate various organ and tissue functions. Your doctor may ask for a PET-CT scan to inspect your blood flow, oxygen level or the general metabolism of various organs and tissues.

"I have gone for PET-CT scan at 2 other centres but none of them compares with Yashoda. Starting from the doctor to the machine as well as the staff, everything here is just excellent. The best part is I got the report on the test day itself."
"The infrastructure is superb. Staff is extremely cooperative and helpful. The doctor is so friendly. He not explained me the need for PET-CT but also told me what all precautions to take post-treatment. No other hospital gives so much time to each patient. Extremely satisfied."
