Dr. Tanish Mandal is a vibrant and ardent pathologist at Yashoda Hospital, Ghaziabad. He has more than 5 years of experience in the field of pathology after attaining M.D. He has performed more than 400 bone marrow aspirations & trephine biopsies and is a qualified internal auditor taking special interest in the quality management system as well as enforcing QSPs and SOPs of the laboratory.
In Pathology, Dr. Mandal's areas of interest are cytology (including exfoliative & invasive cytology), hematology, hematological malignancies, serology, clinical pathology besides taking a special interest in bone marrow, FNAC, and pap smears. He prefers doing USG and CT-guided FNAC himself. He is also involved with the hospital IT department closely for any troubleshooting and upgradation of the LIS and various automated analyzers. Apart from this, he has been instrumental in setting up and ensuring smooth running of COVID-19 samples collection, coordination and processing logistics at Yashoda Hospital & Research Centre, Nehru Nagar.
Dr. Mandal always takes keen interest in attending national conferences to be up to date in this ever changing field. Besides this, he is a passionate teacher and takes up every opportunity to teach lab personnel and nursing staff.
