Free Health Camp at Yashoda: Comprehensive Screening for Early Disease Detection

We at Yashoda Healthcare are pleased to announce a free health camp being organized by our esteemed doctors and staff for the general welfare. The camp is extensive and includes all free tests like PFT, PSA and HbA1c Testing. Anyone interested can visit us on June 7th from 11 AM to 4 PM at Yashoda Super Speciality Hospitals, Sanjay Nagar.

Who should attend this camp?

All those who have not done their medical checkup on a regular basis can attend this camp free of cost. This is an essential first step in disease recognition. You can visit Yashoda Super Speciality Hospitals, Sanjay Nagar to avail this service on June 7th.

What tests will be conducted in the camp?

1. PSA Test

The PSA test measures prostate-specific antigen levels in the blood.

It helps detect prostate issues, including cancer, especially in men over 50.

Early detection through this test can lead to timely treatment and better outcomes.

2. PFT Test

The Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) assesses lung function and capacity.

It’s useful for diagnosing conditions like asthma, COPD, or other respiratory issues.

This non-invasive test involves breathing into a device to measure airflow.

3. HbA1c Test

The HbA1c test evaluates average blood sugar levels over the past 2-3 months.

It’s a key tool for diagnosing and managing diabetes effectively.

Higher levels may indicate poor blood sugar control, needing lifestyle or medical adjustments.

4. Sugar Test

A sugar test checks your blood glucose levels at a specific moment.

It helps identify diabetes or monitor glucose in diabetic patients.

Fasting or random tests can be done, depending on your doctor’s advice.

5. Uric Acid Test

The uric acid test measures uric acid levels in your blood or urine.

High levels can indicate gout, kidney issues, or the risk of kidney stones.

It’s often recommended if you experience joint pain or swelling.

6. Mammography Test

Mammography is an X-ray imaging test for breast cancer screening.

It’s recommended for women over 40 or those with a family history of breast cancer.

Early detection through mammography can significantly improve treatment success rates.

Tips to prepare for the camp

The free health camp by Yashoda Superspeciality Hospitals in Sanjay Nagar, Ghaziabad, is on June 07, 2025, from 11 AM to 4 PM, offering PFT, PSA, HbA1c, sugar, uric acid, and mammography tests. Here are five tips:

  1. Fast for Blood Tests

Since the camp includes sugar and HbA1c tests, fast for at least 8 hours if advised by your doctor—avoid food and drink (except water) before arriving.

  1. Wear Comfortable Clothing

Dress in loose, comfortable clothes, especially for the mammography test, and avoid wearing jewelry or metal accessories that might interfere with the procedure.

  1. Bring Medical Records

Carry any previous medical reports or prescriptions related to diabetes, lung issues, or prostate/breast health to help doctors interpret your test results better.

  1. Arrive Early

The camp runs from 11 AM to 4 PM, so arrive by 10:45 AM to register via the QR code and avoid long waiting times for tests.

  1. Stay Hydrated

Drink plenty of water before the camp, especially for the uric acid test, as hydration can ensure accurate results and make blood draws easier.
