What is a Sinusoidal Tumour?
Sinusoidal tumours are those which emerge from the nose and paranasal sinuses (air-filled cavities lined with mucosa around the nose). These tumours can be benign (noncancerous) or malignant (cancerous).

- Cancerous Tumours: These include squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, adenoid cystic carcinoma, esthesioneuroblastoma, melanomas, etc.

Symptoms include:
- Nasal blockage
- Pus or blood-stained discharge
- Loss of smell
- Headache
- Facial heaviness

- Swelling in the cheek

Treatment of Sinusoidal Tumours:
Sinusoidal tumours can be treated in the following ways:
- Surgery: This remains the most preferred option for sinusoidal tumours.
- Radiotherapy: This involves use of high-energy rays to kill cancer cells.
- Chemotherapy: Under chemotherapy, medications are administered to destroy cancer cells.
