Dr. Dinesh Arora: The Man Who Built a Healthcare Legacy with Yashoda Hospitals
Dr. Dinesh Arora, the Chairman of Yashoda Group of Hospitals, Ghaziabad, is an idealistic and philanthropic healthcare leader whose strategic vision has changed the institution into one of the most esteemed healthcare systems in North India.
A self-made man, his rise from humble beginnings to developing a holistic healthcare ecosystem grounded in clinical excellence, ethical governance, affordable healthcare and patient-centric approach is indeed praiseworthy.
In 1990, Dr. Dinesh Arora started the first flagship hospital of the Yashoda Group – a 100-bedded multispeciality Yashoda Hospital in the Nehru Nagar district of Ghaziabad, thus, leading the way for advanced quaternary healthcare and critical care services in Western Uttar Pradesh. With this, the population of Ghaziabad and densely populated Western Uttar Pradesh was greatly benefitted as now they no longer had to travel to metropolitan cities for their treatments and urgent care.
With its focus entirely on patient-centric care, Yashoda Hospital & Research Centre, Nehru Nagar transformed into a super-specialty unit, highlighted by significant infrastructural advancements in the early 2000s.
Guided by Dr. Dinesh Arora, the super-speciality Yashoda Hospital, Nehru Nagar, incorporated a large number of advanced medical technologies in its fold, resulting in meeting the needs of a huge population throughout the National Capital Region (NCR).
A major milestone was reached in 2019 when under Dr. Dinesh Arora’s capable guidance, Yashoda Cancer Institute in the Sanjay Nagar district of Ghaziabad was inaugurated by Shri Rajnath Singh ji, the Hon’ble Defence Minister of India, which for the first tome improved access of Ghaziabad and Western Uttar Pradesh to modern and comprehensive cancer care.
In 2022, Yashoda Hospital, Nehru Nagar introduced state-of-the-Art Robotic Surgery, which was inaugurated by Shri Om Birla ji, the Hon’ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha, representing a significant advancement in surgical accuracy and minimally invasive excellence, all at extremely affordable rates.
The growth of the Yashoda Group started by Dr. Dinesh Arora continued in 2023 with the establishment of Yashoda Hospital in the Vasundhara district of Ghaziabad, which was inaugurated by Shri Anurag Thakur ji, the Hon’ble Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, along with Shri V.K. Singh ji, Hon’ble Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways and Civil Aviation, Government of India, further combining advanced quaternary healthcare services in NCR and especially in East Delhi.
In 2024, Yashoda Cancer Institute was raised to 350 beds, evolving into a super-specialized cancer and super speciality hospital, namely, Yashoda Superspeciality Hospital & Cancer Institutes that is now recognized as the largest private cancer hospital in Uttar Pradesh — highlighting Dr. Dinesh Arora’s service-oriented vision and the Yashoda Group’s leadership in treatment of all kinds of cancers.
In 2025, guided by Dr. Dinesh Arora’s mission to provide affordable healthcare to the masses, the Yashoda Group of Hospitals laid the foundation stone of the 500-bedded Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital at Loni, Koyal Enclave near the Hindon Airport. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal ji, the Hon’ble Minister of State for Law & Justice (Independent Charge) and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India. This event further reiterated the hospital’s ongoing promise to the people of India.
